Max Rasquinha is the executive director for Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine. He has spent the past 14 years in the senior living industry holding various positions, including dining director and regional director.
Prior to working in senior living, Max was involved in the hospitality industry for 17 years, working for various restaurant groups such as Landry’s, Carlson and Pappas restaurants.
Max grew up in Houston and graduated from the University of Houston with a business degree. He has a 15-year-old son in high school and enjoys spending as much time with him as possible. Some of his interests include watching professional sports, dining out, going on cruises and live music.
Max is looking forward to leading the team at Solstice at Grapevine and providing an exceptional resident experience for the community.
Director of Sales and Marketing
Rebecca Hollier joined Solstice in 2019. She was previously the chief operating officer of a communications company in Dallas. She also has an extensive background in sales, business operations and customer service.
Rebecca loves working at Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine. The directors make a great team, and the residents are very sweet. Her goal is to make living at Solstice the best possible experience for residents by putting their needs first.
Rebecca is a true Texan. She grew up in the Dallas area, wears cowboy boots, cheers for the Dallas Cowboys and loves barbecue. Rebecca and her husband, James, enjoy spending time with their two daughters and raising animals on their land.
Business Office Director
Jessica Meltzer is the Business Office director at Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine. Earning a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Los Angeles as well a National Senior Advisor Certification, Jessica has led a career in project management and senior care industries as the director of Client Relations at Meltzer Personal Senior Services.
Over the years, she has served numerous clients by providing comprehensive care and enabling seniors to maintain a dignified life in the comfort of their home. She’s demonstrated a detailed understanding of issues related to professional caregiving, Alzheimer’s disease, hospice care, and assisted and independent living, as well as patients’ rights.
She recently moved to Texas from Los Angeles with her 4-year-old son. Jessica is looking forward to growing with the team at Solstice at Grapevine.
Director of Sales and Marketing
Mark Williams is the director of Sales and Marketing for Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine. Prior to joining the team, Mark worked for an independent living community as a sales leader and for a senior placement agency educating and guiding seniors and their families.
Mark also has experience in mortgage banking and finance working in roles ranging from loan officer to vice president of Operations.
In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, going to movies, grilling outdoors, making house improvements and having the occasional Netflix binge.
Mark has been married to his wife, Lori, for 30 years. They have two kids and two dogs – a Yorkie and a rescue.
Culinary Services Director
Webster Langston is the Culinary Services director of Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine. He has spent the last decade learning the arts and sciences behind professional cooking and spent the second half of the decade working within senior living kitchens.
Webster grew up in Los Angeles, California, and later attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. After graduating, he attended Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute to pursue his passion for cooking.
Webster loves to attend, watch and participate in sporting events. He also enjoys reading, listening to music and good restaurant recommendations. When Webster isn’t in the kitchen, he and his 5-year-old son can be found joined at the hip.
Vibrant Life Director
Juliana McCaskill is the Vibrant Life® director for Solstice Senior Living at Grapevine. She previously served as the Vibrant Life® assistant. Working as the Vibrant Life® director is her passion, and she brings her own brand of merriment and warmth to the position. Her favorite part of the job is working with all the residents and taking the ordinary and making it fun.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of North Texas and uses her creativity to plan enjoyable, engaging and memorable activities for her residents. She is a lifelong chocoholic with an incurable love of sprinkles. Her favorite channel is the Hallmark Channel because of her firm belief in happy endings. Juliana is also a happy newlywed.
Building Services Director
Luther Romo is the Building Services director at Solstice Senior Living in Grapevine. He works closely with all residents and employees to ensure the maintenance, housekeeping and safety needs are met daily. Luther comes to us with 16 years of experience as a maintenance director in the assisted living, memory care, long-term care and independent living environments, and takes great pride in his ability to keep his buildings up to code and in tip-top shape.
In his spare time, Luther likes to fish, be in the great outdoors and spend time with his family. He is a man of many talents as he was awarded a silver medal at the junior Olympics for boxing, formerly owned and operated a drive-through espresso bar with his wife, and owned a commercial paint and wallpapering company for many years.
Luther says he truly enjoys working with the elderly and gets the greatest satisfaction knowing that he’s able to make a difference in the lives of the many residents here at Solstice each and every day.
