Culinary Services Director
Lex Webster was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, where he attended Lubbock High School and Texas Tech University. He has worked in the culinary industry for over 25 years, 10 years at colleges and universities in Texas and 12 years with two independent living communities in Lubbock. He is a longtime member of the West Texas chapter of the American Culinary Federation Chefs de Cuisine and previously served as president from 2015–2017.
His accolades include Contributor of the Year for the Texas Chef Association, Chef of the Year for the West Texas Chapter of the American Culinary Federation, TCA silver and bronze medals for statewide mystery basket culinary competitions, Master Chef Lubbock, and placed three times at the Lubbock Art Festival’s Golden Fork Culinary Competition.
His true passion is to positively impact the lives of seniors through exceptional, wholesome food. He is happily married to his wife, Jill, and has three beautiful children, Selene, Kelsey and Xavier.
